ਬੰਗਲਾਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਜਸ਼ੋਰ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੋਮਵਾਰ ਸ਼ਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਨੌਜਵਾਨ ਹਿੰਦੂ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਦੀ ਜਨਤਕ ਤੌਰ ‘ਤੇ ਗੋਲੀ ਮਾਰ ਕੇ ਹੱਤਿਆ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ, ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਇਲਾਕੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਹਿਸ਼ਤ ਫੈਲ ਗਈ। ਇਹ ਇੱਕ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਤੋਂ ਵੀ ਘੱਟ ਸਮੇਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਿਸੇ ਹਿੰਦੂ ਦੀ ਹੱਤਿਆ ਦੀ ਪੰਜਵੀਂ ਘਟਨਾ ਹੈ। ਗੋਲੀਬਾਰੀ ਸ਼ਾਮ 5:45 ਵਜੇ ਦੇ ਕਰੀਬ ਮਨੀਰਾਮਪੁਰ ਉਪਜਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਦੇ ਵਾਰਡ ਨੰਬਰ 17 ਦੇ ਕੋਪਾਲੀਆ ਬਾਜ਼ਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਈ। ਇਸ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਦੀ ਪਛਾਣ 45 ਸਾਲਾ ਰਾਣਾ ਪ੍ਰਤਾਪ ਬੈਰਾਗੀ ਵਜੋਂ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ।
